On last Friday 12/01/2018, students of 17BSM from the Joint Bachelor of Science in Management- International Business major, collaborated between the Ho Chi Minh University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh and Keuka College, USA - visited the LIN Center for Community Development.
This trip is part of the Introduction to Communication course (COM122) taught by lecturer Le Thi Phuong Lien in order for the students to have a chance to know about an organization that offers help for those in need and operates to improve the quality of life. At Lin Center, communicating the mission is one of the top goals as it helps listeners realize the long-term and pragmatic way of community support. Therefore, students were able to deeply understand the importance of effective communication, which is also the goal of this course.
One of the tips from Ms. Thanh Truc (Program Director at LIN Center) for the students is to train themselves the ability to make long-term commitments toward those aiding activities, by the choosing support projects that suit their abilities.
