On the last Wednesday (March 20th 2013), the seminar “ Studying undergraduate and graduate program in the U.S.A. – opportunities to get scholarship and Visa” was held at University of Science, HCMC. This seminar received concerns from parents, university students and also high school students. Attending this seminar, the U.S. Consulate General consists of:
- Ms Anna Dupont: cultural attaché.
- Mr Ted Diehl: Embassy Officer.
- Ms Quach Thi My Ngoc: Executive officer of Education USA
Representing for the HCMC University of Science:
- Mr. Vu Hai Quan: Vice Rector of University of Science
- Mr. Tran Cong Danh: Vice manager of ITEC
This seminar aimed to introduce briefly about studying at U.S.A. and then go into details on something related which includes:
- American Education System
- How to find proper schools
- Source of scholarship and Financial aid
- Steps to get visa
The seminar was held in the friendly atmosphere in the discussion part- in which some queries of parents and students were solved with their satisfaction. Besides, some parents paid attention on twinning programs between the U.S.A. and Vietnam.
