ITEC Alumni from the Joint Bachelor program of Computer and Information Science with a major in IT Service Science collaborated between HCM University of Science and Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand attended the AUT Alumni and Business Networking event held at the Caravelle Hotel Saigon on August 8, 2017.
Regards the career development perspective, this event provided magnificent chances for ITEC Alumni to develop their networking with company or organization leaders from New Zealand that aims to allocate their international branches or representative office in Vietnam. Additionally, it was a great honor for ITEC Alumni to come and meet with AUT Pro Vice-Chancellor International Nigel Hemmington, New Zealand ambassador to Viet Nam Ms Wendy Matthews, government officials, industry leaders, former classmates and other honored guests in that wonderful night.
This event was a great opportunity to widen and strengthen long-term diplomatic relationship in terms of economic and education collaborations between Vietnam and New Zealand. Moreover, it was also an avenue for AUT alumni to re-connect with faculty and school officials and students who helped shape their time at AUT and also to explore possible career paths.
