On the evening of Monday, 01/10/2018, the 10th anniversary ceremony of cooperation between the International Training and Education Center, HCM University of Science, Vietnam National University and AUT University for the Bachelor Program in Computer Science (2008 - 2018) was held at the Equatorial Hotel (District 5.)
The ceremony was held in a formal yet very intimate atmosphere and witnessed by the representative of New Zealand Embassy in Vietnam, representatives of two institutes, representatives of the HCM Vietnam National University and their partner schools, both domestic and foreign businesses, and especially the presence of nearly 100 alumni have studied the AUT program in Vietnam from the first term till now.
During the ceremony, Assoc. Prf. Dr. Vu Hai Quan, Vice President of the VNU-HCM, former Vice President of the HCM University of Science, who founded and implemented the associate program with AUT University in the early years, also shared feelings, challenges, and opportunities during the past 10 years when working with the strategic partner, AUT University. He also wished the two institutes would tightening up their friendship and cooperation, thereby supporting each other for long-term sustainable development as well as contributing to the training of many useful resources for society.
University of Science, VNU-HCM was proud of its efforts together with the AUT University to bring students an educational environment with positive effects of New Zealand education - one of the countries with top quality education. Up to date, the program has trained more than 700 students throughout 11th courses for the IT industry. The admission process takes consider upon high school transcripts and English efficiency.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan - Vice President of the HCM Vietnam National University
(former Vice President of the HCM University of Science and Director of the ITEC Center)
on behalf of the school’s board expressed his acknowledgement
toward the trust of the AUT University, New Zealand for the past 10 years.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Rum - President of the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Tourism also attended and sent his congratulations.
Mr. Pham Duong Viet Quoc Hoang received a reward as a recognition of his high academic achievement.
Awards was also granted for the faculties from both institutes
who has been governing the program for developing the program for the past 10 years
In this ceremony, Vice President Guy Littlefair granted Assoc. Prf. Dr. Vu Hai Quan
with the title of Honored Professor of the AUT University, New Zealand
