On December 19, 2015, ITEC students had an occasion to visit and to give gifts to the orphaned children at Dieu Giac Pagoda. The message of this activity is "FOR THE CHILDREN SMILES", ITEC desires to bring happiness to the children when the New Year Eve is about to come.
The charity team has collected 3,260,000 VND and lot of donated items such as books, food, toys, autograph pens and clothes, etc. According to information from the nuns at the Pagoda, most children there are abandoned by young mothers who were accidentally pregnant and were unwilling to have a child. Most of them were put in front of the Pagoda and some were left in the trash.
Through this charity trips, ITEC would hope the students will always keep the spirit of responsible citizen, to help more people as well as to contribute to the wealth of the society.
